This Privacy Policy describes how The MD House ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use TheMDHouse, our mobile application ("App"), available on Google Play and related services hosted at api.kiorhealthcare.com.

By creating an account or using TheMDHouse, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you register and use TheMDHouse, we may collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Name, email address, mobile number, password, and profile photo.
Academic & Admission Data: University details, semester, year of study, admission documents, and application status.
Identity Documents: Passport details, Aadhaar card images, visa documents, degree certificates, NEET results, and other documents uploaded for admission and visa processing.
Family Information: Parent/guardian names, contact numbers, and email addresses provided during registration.
Location Data: City, state, country, and address details you provide.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, push notification tokens (FCM), and app usage data.
Communication Data: Messages sent through in-app chat and support requests.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through TheMDHouse to:

Create and manage your student account.
Facilitate medical university admissions and visa processing.
Communicate updates about your application, documents, and academic status.
Provide in-app services including chat, notifications, attendance, results, and announcements.
Improve app functionality, security, and user experience.
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only with:

Authorized partner universities and educational institutions for admission processing.
Government embassies and visa authorities as required for visa applications.
Trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting on AWS and Google Cloud Platform) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
Law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is stored securely on encrypted cloud servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your TheMDHouse account is active and as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data as described in Section 6 below, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial or regulatory records).

6. Account Deletion & Data Deletion

TheMDHouse allows all registered users to request deletion of their account and associated personal data. The MD House is committed to honoring all account and data deletion requests in accordance with Google Play policies and applicable data protection laws.

How to Request Account Deletion

You may delete your TheMDHouse account and associated data using either of the following methods:

Method 1 — Delete Account In-App (Recommended)

Open TheMDHouse on your device.
Go to Profile or Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm your request when prompted.

Your account will be deactivated immediately and your data will be scheduled for permanent deletion.

Method 2 — Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app, send an email to:

Please include the following in your email:

Your full name as registered in TheMDHouse
Your registered email address or mobile number
A clear statement that you wish to delete your TheMDHouse account and all associated data

What Data Is Deleted

When your TheMDHouse account is deleted, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our active systems:

Data That May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information after account deletion:

Legal compliance: Records required to be kept under applicable laws (e.g., financial transaction records) may be retained for the period required by law, after which they are deleted.
Anonymized data: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytics purposes.

Deletion Processing Time

Account deletion requests submitted in-app are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days of receiving your verified request. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

Partial Data Deletion

If you wish to delete specific data without deleting your entire TheMDHouse account, contact us at info@themdhouse.com with the subject line "TheMDHouse - Data Deletion Request" and specify which data you would like removed. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

As a TheMDHouse user, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data through the app or by contacting us.
Request deletion of your account and personal data (as described in Section 6).
Withdraw consent for optional data processing.
Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

TheMDHouse is intended for students aged 18 and above, or for use by students with parental/guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through TheMDHouse or via email. The updated policy will be posted at https://api-mdhouse.erptech.info/privacy with a revised "Last Updated" date.
